Our Story

headingline_two

BeeHively Group is dedicated towards creating an ecosystem where beekeepers can thrive. Our aim is to bridge the gap between beekeepers and end customers for delivering natural raw honey all around the world. We are looking to forge long-term relationships with beekeepers, and equip them with modern tools and innovative beekeeping supplies for harvesting good-quality honey. Beehively Group is extensively working on sustainable beekeeping, honey production, and bulk honey supplying.

Our Story

We have a cluster of more than 5000 beekeepers, who are managing over 3 million bee boxes across India, Bhutan and Nepal. Along with helping beekeepers produce natural and raw honey, we focus on helping them enhance their methodologies, and providing them access to newer markets to sell their honey and bee by-products.

Agriculture largely depends on pollination carried out by bees, which play a significant role in the lifecycle of a lot of plants. BeeHively is working hard to conserve bees and is directly liaising with beekeepers to promote the best beekeeping practices. BeeHively is one of the very few companies in South East Asia to facilitate direct interaction between beekeepers and processors/exporters. Our aim is to work with beekeepers from the entire Asian continent and provide cutting-edge beekeeping tools and equipment, assured buyback yearly contracts and seasonal contracts for honey & other products.

We wish to procure pure honey from beekeepers and make it available to our customers, honey traders, packagers, retailers and more.

BeeHively is also setting up filtration units to deliver the best-quality honey in bulk. We encourage farmers and beekeepers to maintain an organic environment for preserving the biodiversity as well as maintaining the population of bees in their areas. We also offer assured buyback yearly contracts and seasonal contracts for honey and its by-products to help our beekeeping partners have a regular source of income.

Our Association

headingline_two

Beekeepers in India are facing many challenges including pollution, deforestation, decreasing agricultural farming and increasing use of pesticides. These problems are making it difficult for bees to collect nectar, leading to a rapid decline in bee population. India also has limited honey processing units that procure honey from traders and middlemen. Honey collected from these sources may lack purity and have higher chances of adulteration.

Beekeepers in most regions in India perform traditional beekeeping, which needs to be upgraded and replaced with modern beekeeping techniques and equipment. Some of the other problems they face include lack of marketing strategies and inaccessibility to a good market for their honey and bee by-products. BeeHively is working towards introducing the new techniques in India to help increase the yield of sustainably procured raw honey. Along with providing modern beekeeping equipment in India, we will also conduct training sessions for Indian beekeepers.

BeeHively is also planning to introduce minimum selling price (MSP) for all beekeepers to ensure that they do not sell their products at underpriced rates, thus preventing their exploitation. Fair rates for honey and its by-products will assure higher return on investment (ROI) for the beekeepers and lead to an increase in honey exports from India.
